Cybersecurity: Why Board and C-Suite Alignment Is Critical to Managing Cyber Risk.

Stacy Cannady currently works for Cisco Systems as a specialist in cyber resilience and cyber-risk mitigation. He is a 35 year veteran of the information technology industry. For the past 18 years, Mr. Cannady has specialized in cyber security, providing professional services support to federal agencies and the defense industrial base, as well as technical product marketing and portfolio management for cyber security products and services. Most recently, he worked as a subject-matter expert in cyber governance and resilience for Cisco, specifically in marketing communications. Mr. Cannady regularly speaks and writes on cyber governance and security of IoT, cloud, and other cyber security issues.
Chip Block has over 30 years of advanced technology research and development experience, having spent the past 15 years in the information assurance and cyber technology areas. He leads new market and technology development at Evolver, which supports security operations centers (SOCs) for the federal and commercial markets, securing over 12,000 staff, 350,000 customers and billions of dollars of assets. Mr. Block works extensively in the areas of cyber research and advises Evolver's clients on cyber operations, cyber-risk quantification, and cyber insurance. Specific to cyber-risk quantification, he works with clients to identify key business risk elements for ROI analysis and insurance considerations and to streamline vendor management.
Allen O'Rourke is co-leader of the firm Womble Bond Dickinson's Privacy and Cybersecurity Team and an experienced former cybercrime prosecutor. He conducts internal cyber investigations and represents clients in government investigations, regulatory enforcement, consumer litigation, and business disputes arising from cybersecurity incidents. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O'Rourke helped lead the Cyber Unit at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Washington, D.C., and received two Special Achievement Awards for his work to combat cybercrime.
